DION Gjøvik: Startup Preschool with Startup Migrants

Want to start a business in Norway? Startup Preschool comes to Gjøvik

We have an upcoming  Startup Preschools for internationals who would like to start a business in Norway. From the 22-24 of September in Gjøvik in partnership with Vaager and at Bright (brighthouse.no)

The preschool is organised together with Startup Migrants and is co-financed by NTNU for you! 

The preschool is a 3-day intensive course in entrepreneurship. You get to know the local startup ecosystem – learn to develop your ideas into a business idea and get help to realize them. During the last two years Startup Migrants have educated more than a 1000 people – and helped more than 80 start a limited company.

The Startup Preschool is free of charge and starts at 16.00 on Friday and ends on Sunday  at 14.00.

The preschool is organised together with Startup Migrants and is co-financed by NTNU for you! 

The preschool is a 3-day intensive course in entrepreneurship. You get to know the local startup ecosystem – learn to develop your ideas into a business idea and get help to realize them. Meditation course in Ålesund

Dear all temporary staff at NTNU in Ålesund!

DION in Ålesund invites temporary employees to a short introductory course in Kriya Yoga meditation on Friday the 8th of September at 11:15-12:45. This is a meditative (not physical) yoga practice that is suitable for everyone, regardless of physical shape.

Kriya Yoga is a form of meditation that is based on attention and breath. This authentic method originates from yogis in the Himalayas and has been practiced through thousands of years. Through the meditation practice, you experience deep inner silence, which is the basis for peace, joy and self-realisation. Kriya Yoga can be easily integrated into your daily life and will give you an expanded attention and presence, so that you more easily can be “here and now” by calming down your thoughts. The method is very efficient for reducing stress and strengthening concentration and, not least, for bringing out the natural inner joy and satisfaction in life.

Pizza seminar for temporary employees- The nordic model and role of the unions

You are hereby invited to a seminar about the Nordic model and your rights as an employee. The seminar will give you insight in the unions and more specific the Norwegian Association of researchers (Forskerforbundet) role in Norway and at NTNU. We will explain how Forskerforbundet may assist if you have any difficulties related to your employment.

The seminar will be offered on Wednesday August 30. The event starts at 3 PM and finish around 4 PM in room K109. Pizza will be served, please inform us about allergies in the registration form.
