Transferable Skills Day workshops (Trondheim)

DION is pleased to invite you to our Transferable Skills Day in cooperation with NIRS, Startup Migrants and Gibberish on 17th of March!

Transferable skills are the skills that you take with you from your PhD or PostDoc into your next career stage, whatever it will be, academia, industry, startup, public sector or something else! Transferable skills include for example the ability to clearly and efficiently communicate, present and pitch your ideas to others, solve unexpected problems, or work well in teams. Throughout the Transferable Skills Day we will offer you a few workshops, which will help you to develop these skills further and to uncover the skills that make you unique.

Pitch your research workshop

  • The first event of the Transferable Skills Day – Pitch your research workshop! Nicolai Strøm-Olsen, CEO of Startup Migrants, will tell you why it is important to be able to disseminate your research effectively. Nicolai will provide you with practical tips and tricks. In an interactive way, you can directly apply your new knowledge and get valuable feedback!
As it will be an interactive workshop, you should be willing to share your research with the others. Please also notify your supervisor. If you are not comfortable/not ready/not allowed to share your research, you can also pitch your favorite paper!

The workshop will take place in a breakfast seminar format.

       When: 17th of March, 8.30 – 10.30
