Pizza & Party at Samfundet
As NTNU opened in 1910, the first group of students gathered and found out they needed a students society. Two weeks later, The Student Society of NTNU came to existence. The first two years, the society did not have its own building, but in 1912, Studentersamfundet i Trondhjem (The student society in Trondheim) bought an old Circus building, and in 1929 the characteristic red and round building was finished.
Ever since, students have come to Trondheim and joined the society which is now the largest in Norway with over 8000 members. Samfundet (for short) is entirely run by students for students, with over 1000 volunteers keeping the tradition.
We in the AMEE comitee is proud to invite you to a pizza & party at Samfundet, so that you can see for yourself what the fuzz is all about. We meet in the Bodega, one of the 8 public bars on the house, and eat Italian pizza from the famous Sesam kitchen. After mingling with other AMEE-students, we join the party with 2000 other students from Trondheim. And if youre real lucky, you'll get invited to one of the 17 secret bars, and party all night long...
