The Language Tandems within the ENHANCE Alliance is a project for students, doctoral candidates, academic and administrative staff that aims to enhance language learning via a language exchange method and enables participants to make new contacts within the ENHANCE community. During the meeting, we will present the project and explain how it works.
Project presentation will take place online on 25 October from 14:00 to 15:00 UTC+2:00.
Who doesn’t enjoy observing the leaves from the trees changing into multicolored works of art? Do you also take thousands of pictures of the trees or nature or people you love with a beautiful background during autumn? If yes, maybe do you want to share on if these with us?

Hello everyone! Cozy time has arrived and autumn at its best. DION invites all PhDs, Post Docs, and temporary staff at NTNU Gjøvik and their family members to spend a cozy Friday evening together. There will be pizza and various board games.
Where: Gjøvik library, 2nd floor. Kauffeldts Plass 1, 2815 Gjøvik.
If you are a PhD, PostDoc or temporary staff at NTNU and enjoy spending time at art museums, then DION has a great offer for you! We are pleased to invite you and your family to visit the Lillehammer Kunstmuseum. We will meet at the Lillehammer Kunstmuseum entrance and visit the new exhibition together. Then, you can join us to walk towards the centre of Lillehammer and visit the LILLEHAMMER MATAUKFESTIVAL 2021 there! Please fill out the registration form to book your free ticket.

Dion invites all PhDs, Post Docs and temporary scientific staff at NTNU Gjøvik to join a hike to Eiktunet, organized by the culture and welfare group of NTNU employees (members from ID, IDI and the library).

We meet on the lawn outside the Smaragd building
What?
We will walk together in groups from campus following the route shown on the map below.
When we arrive at Eiktunet, we will have a snack and something to drink – prepared by Sit cafeteria. Because of this we need you to register your attendance and your food preferences (if any).
We haven’t planned any activities at Eiktunet, but feel free to stay for a chat with your colleagues.
Please register within the deadline 16th of September.
Important information
Please be prepared for all kinds of weather (although we hope for sun, let’s be realistic and be prepared for rain), dress accordingly Remember good shoes, as the walk will take about an hour (one way) and it is uphill most of the time in different terrain (asphalt/gravel road/forest).
We will have to consider the Covid-19 situation, hence, a risk of cancelling if the situation doesn’t allow to go through with it.
Going back
You can walk back to campus/city centre, or you can take the bus from Øverby/Eiktunet. (The bus ride takes about 30 min back to campus). We encourage you to use a facemask on the bus.
