Welcome to Tour de Trondheim 2009

NTNUI Orienteering is pleased to invite all our orienteering friends to the third “Tour de Trondheim” in September. Within this three day event, the runners will first have the opportunity to try a fast sprint at the NTNU university campus, a long distance run featuring open alpine moorland, a detailed and technically demanding forested slope, and finally, a challenging run in typical Trondheim region terrain.

The long and medium distances will take place in the most beautiful part of Bymarka, just west of the city centre. The areas of these races are close to one of the embargoed areas of the World Orienteering Championships (WOC) in 2010. The maps are new, made by the one of the WOC 2010 cartographers.
