Every weekend Hytta needs volunteers to help with preparing and serving meals. Volunteers are called hyttevakter and stay and eat for free.

Beeing a hyttevakt is a great way to meet new people and get out of the city without spending any money. You need no previous experience and there will always be someone from either Hytta's board or the hosts to tell you what to do. Most weekends we need 2-4 people.

If you help for a whole weekend you will get to sleep for free at Hytta for the remainder of the semester! This is our way of saying thank you, and it can save you a bit of money, especially if you plan to stay at Hytta many days in the exam period.
