Hi everyone.
Recently limits were added to the signup system in order to limit the number of users on the trainings more effectively. A negative effect of this is that people who could not attend trainings had to announce that on the mailing list and the first one to read the mail and reply gets the spot. Quite frankly, a bit unfair :-)
Therefore, I have implemented some new stuff in this system.
Now, users can sign up even if the training is full, but is then put on a waiting list. In the lists, this is denoted by their names being colored red. These are not part of training at that given time.
However, when you sign up now, you will get a mail with a link which you can use to sign off the training if you can\'t attend as planned. If you use this link, your name will be removed from the lists instantly, and the next person in line (on the waiting list) will be bumped up from the waiting list. Additionally, this person will receive an e-mail that he/she can attend training as the spot has opened up.
Hopefully, this will make the signup / signoff systems + spot switches easier.
